This week I have been busy with transferring my ailing 94yr old mother to a geriatric home, where she can get better care. Her leaving the home has triggered a clean up, as we hope to rent part of the house to pay for the home care. This has brought back strong childhood memories, as we go through pictures and memorabilia.
I saw these activities as a reset button for me, like in electronic devices where it returns you to the original settings. Reflecting on it coinciding with the Jubilee Year and my 69th year of life, got me to thinking that I was pressing the reset button and all that comes with it
