John 12: 24 ‘I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.’ I believe Jesus is giving us a powerful truth in life - that holding on to our personal ego, our own way of doing things (including ministry) leaves us alone and ineffective.
