Thank you Deacon Hilary for your well wishes for our first Granddaughter Isabella Anne, she is truly a special little one and a true answer to my prayers.
Yes! I would love to stay online accountability friends. I feel very inspired by your sharing. Thank you once again!
Thank you, Andre, for all your support, encouragement and guidance. We have had a tough start to the year with ancestral families issues. Life happens!
Thank you Deacon Hilary for your insights into the discipline of walking daily . This is also my minimum requirement for fitness and everything else is a bonus or add on if time permits. I walk generally 5km daily with my two dogs who are my “ accountability partners” as they love their walks as much as I do but there are days when I am so exhausted from work that one look at their faces makes me grab their leash and head out at least for 3km, some days we walk in -10 and it’s still glorious. I am a runner and have run marathons and half marathons etc, but lately it’s been hard to keep with walking the dogs and running so have defaulted to consistency in my walking the dogs and running when I can at least once a week. I love the simplicity of your call to walk and to talk of which I do often either to a friend whom I have to catch up with a phone call or listening to a podcast like yours as I did today or just my favourite music or I simply tune out and listen to my footsteps on the snowy sidewalks, you speak about looking at nature, oh! It’s my favourite thing to do as some of my friends would attest to, I take numerous pictures of sunrises and sunsets, birds and simply the enjoyment of watching my dogs walk. Lately I have been on Oshawa with my daughter as she just made me a Grandmother for the very first time, so I have been still trying to sneak in a daily 30-60 min walk to refresh myself from the joys of looking after my two week old Granddaughter, Isabella Anne.
I truly enjoyed your podcast on this topic and yes, I have a goal too this year to walk as much as I walked last year which was on average 7.5km daily.
Thank you for your encouragement and enthusiasm! I hope we can stay accountable to each other.
Walking to me is so therapeutic and they say “ Motion is lotion” 🚶♀️🚶😊 Cheering on you and Sandee from Canada! 🙏
Congratulations on your granddaughter, Isabella Anne, what a lovely name! I am so happy for you, to be a grandparent is truly one of the joys of life.
And thank you for your kind words of encouragement. Yes, definitely, lets stay as online accountability partners.
