Thank you for this reflection, Andre. I am seriously embarking on creating a sustainable home and any advice will be gladly welcomed. I am starting a publication to capture our journey as part of this newsletter. I hope to share the first issue this week. Look out for it.
Yes, your work is critical, I see we have already passed the 1.5degree Celcius that was supposed to be a tipping point. It is more urgent than we thought.
Dear Deacon, thank you so much for this reflection on the five lessons that you have learned while visiting your daughter and her family in London.
I find all of them to be great lessons to live by for me as I start a new year full of hope and promises.
As you know, I work in the field of climate change and sustainability, and although I’m trying to steer large institutional investors towards participating in our global efforts towards a low fossil fuel economy, or net zero, there are definitely methods and ways of life that people can adopt in their own home to live a more sustainable lifestyle, and teach the next generation how to live that way.
I can connect you with a good friend of mine Trinidadian, who lives in Hong Kong, and who has studied a lot on the topic and has actually built his own green home here in Toronto.
Happy new year to all your readers and let’s remember that …. All is well!
